About Maison Ranaz

Rania Enouali, the creative force behind Maison Ranaz, is a Moroccan fashion designer and stylist born in the historic city of Ouazzane — a place renowned for its deep-rooted traditions in textile and artisanal craftsmanship. Growing up in a neighborhood where the elegance of caftans and jellabas was part of daily life, Rania was immersed in a culture where dressing with grace and dignity was a form of art. Her earliest inspirations came from within her own home, watching her grandmother, mother, and sisters carefully select fine fabrics and wear their traditional garments with pride and purpose.

From the tender age of five, Rania found serenity and joy in sketching kaftan and takchita designs. Her heart naturally gravitated toward the refined beldi style — the luxurious, noble fashion of Moroccan grandparents that spoke of timeless class and authenticity. It was this early passion that shaped her creative path.

Rania pursued formal education in fashion design in Meknes, where she refined her technical skills. Yet, she often says her most valuable lessons came not from the classroom, but from the soulful artisans of the medina — women with over 50 years of experience who taught her that love, patience, and devotion are the essence of any true masterpiece. In those humble workshops, she learned how to pour her heart into every stitch, to honor tradition while creating beauty that transcends time.

Each Maison Ranaz piece is a unique work of art, crafted with rare and noble materials — often difficult to source due to the declining production of traditional fabrics like toub and sfifa. Rania's commitment to preserving the beldi aesthetic is visible in every design. Her creations echo the legacy of Moroccan elegance, infused with personal emotion, artistic vision, and meticulous handwork.

Now, through Maison Ranaz, she seeks to offer women more than clothing — she offers them a feeling: the luxury and grace of our grandmothers, reborn with a modern soul. Her mission is to reconnect women with this precious heritage, allowing them to wear stories woven with passion, history, and beauty.

At Maison Ranaz, tradition is not just preserved — it is reimagined.
